Need to come up with something like this. I wish I was this good at Fabrication.

Just seeing it mocked up made me happy. Engines going to sit higher with the transmission sitting slightly tucked in under the tail of the engine. I'm going to have to trim some off the bellhousing to make it all fit nice.

Paging Travis looking for a gearbox for a gk06 if you have friends in Chinese places think it’s the CN250 as the CF250 has one shaft that’s longer than the other. I’m changing the build up. The GK06 is getting a predator 670cc I picked up for $200  so I’m going to use that instead of the civic transmission and CBR600 going to save that for something different. I’ll post some pictures tomorrow of updates.

So here is what I've been up to. Welded the rear of the GK back together then mocked up the 600CC F4i engine and thought. I really don't want to die. the Frame is ok on this buggy but 112hp is to much for it. If I could get a Polaris 500 driveline and transmission it would be a different story. So 22 hp with my 7 year old as the passenger is much more manageable.
here is the F4i mocked up with honda civic transmission.
The Civic transmission with the jackshaft setup I was going to run

So this build has morphed into many different variants. But it's nearing the finish line. The 670cc is mounted. The Stock FNR box has been rebuilt by doing cartwheels through china. I welded the rear end back together where the previous owner hacked it to bits. But we are 80% done. All i have left is Finish welding up the exhaust. Getting the torque converter installed. Figuring out what sprockets I need to run. and then Paint it up to make it look pretty to then get it absolutely filthy in mud.

This is cool! Care to share any details on your fnr? model, application? How you've connected the shafts? Going with a 40 series? Thanks!
