I can’t lie, seeing my build featured just put me in a good mood all day
kinda like I made the local news, I’ve been telling my friends and family. Lol.
I definitely set one of my main goals to make it look good. Rims and tires completed the look to the awesome front lift. Although I haven’t brought it up, it will get fresh paint but not until the very end of my heavy mods. I thought of getting a cleaner frame to start, but it felt proper to save this motorless and priced cheap frame.
Still waiting on the Machineshop for steering turn around btw...next week maybe. Idk, but I need to pull the trigger on the EPAS controller. Ebay jitters...limited options and sources. Out here on the limb...but I don’t have the Machineshop bill yet either so there is that. The benifits of hindsight and I could have saved a ton for the steering u joints and connections. I guess I planned a little poorly. Something as simple as a split u joint vs solid and it costs you. In the end I will get there, but the first time is usually the long way around. I will have Precision control of the front wheels. I will not even have to cross my hands over. As you watch riders, pay attention to the front wheel movement compared to how many times the driver spins the steering wheel. It’s a dance the driver loses trying to corner fast. They lose just turning around. Make yo arse sweat for that 3 point turn yo. Work it! You won’t see me racing my steering wheel in circles to turn.
nope, I’ll be smooth. I will also be able to hit the trails faster, drift harder, and flat out make it look easy. Because it is.
