• Replacement shocks for Yerf Dog 3203?

November 2019 Forum Retirement
Due to lack of extra personal time (and too much spam), I'm retiring the forum and setting it to a read-only state. No new registrations or posts will be accepted as of 11/09/19. However, all information will stay up and searchable. If you spend a few minutes searching, you'll find the answers you're looking for. We may re-open the forum next spring.

The front shocks on the used Yerf Dog 3203 my son bought are completely shot. I've found the exact replacments online at several sites, but I'd like to get something a bit beefier. Most of the 12" shocks I found online don't have the exact Hole ID size, which is .38". Will a shock with a .39" or .40" Hole ID work OK, or does it need to be exact? I wasn't sure if it would be OK for the shock to be slightly loose around the bolt?

Thanks for any suggestions or help you can provide!

That is a 10mm bolt hole. you should be able to use the heavier metric hardware instead of SAE.
