Brand new 150cc GY6 shortcase engine built with HOWHIT valve sizes (the large valves).

The engine that will be sent is built to HOWHIT performance specs, but it not made by HOWHIT. SEE BELOW for details on what you will receive.

This engine is compatible with HOWHIT brand engines, however there are a few differences with our latest batch which you should know about prior to ordering:

Firstly, the engine you will receive will NOT have the muffler mounting stud fixed to the side of the CVT cover, there will only be a plug. The installer will have to either swap CVT covers with your original engine, or swap the muffler mounting stud into the new cover. Also, this engine comes with the longer output shaft meant for reverse buggies. A spacer will be supplied so that you can use your original sprocket on the longer shaft. This is extremely convenient if you are considering installing our reverse kit in the future, as you will not have to tear into the transmission case in order to install the longer shaft. Also, the CVT cover is painted black, which is purely a cosmetic difference. This engine DOES come with the large valves and is built to HOWHIT performance specs.

This engine is the short-style, please make sure that your bike came with the short style to ensure fitment.
