Bizzare Starting on yerf 150

Hi,
Not very technical here, but know how to do basic isolation of an issue. The engine starts as soon as I put the red wire to the battery. Thought maybe it was a faulty starter button so i unplugged the 2 wires from the red button, made sure they werent touch, and boom still trying to turn over. So even without the button being depressed or the two wires touching, it still starts, was working fine until today. Any Ideas? Thanks! -Mike

I have gone through and unplugged various cables and tried to find one that would allow the cords to by plugged to the battery without the unit trying to turn over, I have disassemble the safety brake to start option, I disconnected the cords from the Rectifier, Upgraded CDI, Ignition Coil, and various parts of the wiring harness each at separate times, all allowed the unit to keep trying to start except for the fuse. When i disconnect the fuse, it did not try to start. It also did not matter whether the kill switch was at the on or off position.

The starter solenoid requires a ground o activate the starter. Most likely the control, wire is pinched somewhere to the frame. Disconnect the 4-pin plug to the chassis harness and see if the problem goes away. If it does not, the solenoid is probably shorted out.
