BDX 11-pole Stator Plug-n-Play Adapter Installation

The conversion harness is available [at this link].

When using this adapter, 2 of the original connections on your engine harness will be bypassed and no longer used. More details below.

#1 - This is the 4-pin connector that plugs into your stator. The original connector on your engine harness is bypassed by the new adapter and will not be used. The original should be left disconnected.

#2 & #3 - These two plugs connect to your new large rectifier.

#4 - To connect #4, remove your original rectifier from the harness and dispose. You will no longer need the original rectifier. The #4 plug connects into the same connector that your OLD rectifier was plugged into on the harness.

#5 - This is the new auto-choke power wire which will come on while the engine is running. This connection bypasses and replaces the original auto-choke connection (which is now a constant connection to the battery and may be used for other accessories).

#6 - This spade plug connects to the choke resistor. Leave the resistor"s ground wire in place, but disconnect the other resistor wire which leads to the original auto-choke plug. Plug the new adapter"s spade connector into the resistor where the old wire was connected.

Mount the rectifier in a position to receive airflow while the vehicle is in motion.

ok ground is one side of choke but what is the other side hooked to.Had to scrap this harness as it would not work with my tomberlin punisher

The harness (adapter) is compatible with the Tomberlin Punisher.

The spade connector (#6) from the other side of the choke is to be connected to the non-grounded side of the large white resistor (rectangular in shape). In most situations, #6 can be left unused, or routed for additional lighting or accessories.

I ordered this kit for a roketa mc-19 scooter qmj157....all i did was extend the wiring from the plug and play kit from the votage regulator to the stator, which was 4 wires about 3 and a half foot long and i ran a toggle switch off of the orange wire in the kit, man this kit is awesome! Works flawlessly... I did not use the spade conector nor did I need to use the auto choke hookup because my factory autochoke still worked..I searched everywhere to find something to charge my scooter with no luck but I found this and I'm tellin ya if ya know what ur doin it works...My scoot is fully tuned with big bore and every option installed including real H.I.D. lights...Couldnt keep a battery or my lights workin but now nooo problem....I highly recommended this product for scooter enthusiasts...Took me about 30 min to extend wires and about an hour to install the right way and was one of the best upgrades I've done yet....
