The conversion harness is available
[at this link].
When using this adapter, 2 of the original connections on your engine harness will be bypassed and no longer used. More details below.
#1 - This is the 4-pin connector that plugs into your stator. The original connector on your engine harness is bypassed by the new adapter and will not be used. The original should be left disconnected.
#2 & #3 - These two plugs connect to your new large rectifier.
#4 - To connect #4, remove your original rectifier from the harness and dispose. You will no longer need the original rectifier. The #4 plug connects into the same connector that your OLD rectifier was plugged into on the harness.
#5 - This is the new auto-choke power wire which will come on while the engine is running. This connection bypasses and replaces the original auto-choke connection (which is now a constant connection to the battery and may be used for other accessories).
#6 - This spade plug connects to the choke resistor. Leave the resistor"s ground wire in place, but disconnect the other resistor wire which leads to the original auto-choke plug. Plug the new adapter"s spade connector into the resistor where the old wire was connected.
Mount the rectifier in a position to receive airflow while the vehicle is in motion.
